This course and it's sister course (Mile Square Classic) are possibly the best conditioned courses in Orange County. Both courses were designed by David Rainville and therefor are very similar is style and play. They both are well bunkered (and bunkers are well maintained) and the bunkers are strategically placed. The courses have two weaknesses: 1 Fairway bunkers are very punishing. The large mounding does not allow long iron approach shots as the golfer must can only hit a 7 iron or higher to get out. 2 All the par 3’s measure approximately the same yardage and usually require the same club. This is particularly true on the Classic course where the par 3 pin location rotations are virtually the same. The greatest draw to these courses is the conditioning. The greens are quick, true and healthy. They are always in great shape.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area

Golf course is in great condition. The greens are excellent. Putts are fast and true. Rate is $35 if you buy a senior card (60+ Mon-Fri). Would recommend even if you paid the regular rate of $47 with cart.

Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level

The fairways were kind of choppy but the greens were consistant, even after a lot of rain the night before. It's pretty wide open as long as you can avoid the water. Overall a good track but people need to sand their divots and fix ball marks. What else is new on a muni though...

I played on a weekend. The pace of play was real good, particularly considering that it was the weekend and this is a public course. The course was also in great shape.

I play this course weekly and it is a fun course for those new to the game as well as experienced players. There are sufficient hazards to make the course challenging.
